Charlotte used to fall asleep on me and I used to love it. Would then carry her upstairs and she'd zonk completely. She will still sometimes if we have a DVD girly night, just couldn't carry her up the stairs now without needing A&E for my back afterwards She's taller than me now!

ee well, what alot of snow! local schools shut and other half's school is shut too. i've never seen so much snow. good job we have some food in

morning!! . Just love the snow, but we don't have as much as you guys up norf! Been out and taken some pics and the schools and colleges are shut here too. It's snowing but thawing too, so until the temperatures drop I think the thaw is winning.

I'm good thanks Strive. Enjoying the snow and a couple of extra days of closed college ( although I have been doing college work today ). Hope the girls are enjoying it. I'm just a big kid at heart

other half's school and my kids school is closed again today.

does anyone else have these freaky icicles hanging from the guttering?

am not good at estimating length, but on the houses opposite they hang down like half the height of the windows. nothing like being skewered by a falling icicle

Omg that is like a final destination moment. no dodgy icicles here, treacherous roads, and lots of white still, but nothing likely to skewer us from above thankfully.

the icices here drop the height of the windows now and there's at least 50 running the length of the guttering of the house opposite

very beautiful but very heavy on the guttering i'd imagine. i snapped one off of our guttering from the bathroom window and it took ages to melt. was reminded of a murder case with a melting murder weapon

Hahahaha the perfect murder weapon! Trust naughty Strive to think of that! Great plan though, now just need a victim! I'm sure some suitable candidates could be located on 2Pass . Schhols off again tomorrow, the roads are just thick sheet ice. Have been out in the car and it does focus the mind.

Sorry Strive, Having registered with Yahoo, it now won't let me sign in because the sign in pop up is being blocked. I do not understand what the work round is, as there is supposed to be something in the browser to allow it, but I can't see what it means,

Yes I think so. I got an e'mail link to click which I did and I got a message to say I had been approved, but think the problem is my end. As soon as I try to sign in, it says sign in pop up blocked. I'm so crap at trying to figure out what the terminology means, I have to crack that and then figure out what I'm supposed to do about it! It's a total pain in the arse.
