afternoon all,i can relax now,my boy had an ok time at secondary school today(transfer day).
he did get lost 3 times tho but ive told him he will get lost alot more than that when he starts in september

Do they only send them up for a day before september Vicky? Up here it's a full week so you get a proper idea of the school and your teachers.

Glad he got on ok vicky - ohh the joys, i remember so well getting lost round secondary school - thanks for the reminder - guess who will be having nightmares about bloody school tonight - and work will be mixed in there just for good measure.

nope just a day here ian,i think a week would be a good idea,hes going from a little school with about 30 class rooms and about 400 kids to a huge school with about 500 rooms and 1800 pupils

400 kids is not a little school!

My primary school had 26 pupils and 2 classrooms.

there are more kids in leonies reception class

It was a tiny village though.

They want to close the school, the swines.

dont worry vicky, im sure it will serve him well for dealing with more people later on in life. I think the bigger the school the more people you meet and the better it is for learning how to recognise types for future reference.
Hes a nice lad so shouldnt have too many problems.
