Hello peeps Hope Kris won't mind me slinking in. have really enjoyed everyone's company of late and losing OT is horrible.
Hope everyone is ok . Good luck with the job interview Sausages, really hope you get it.
Michelle, I think version 1 of swine flu is probably preferable to the mutation that is bound to follow in due course, so your actions to visit your neice I think is a well informed and justified act of humanity.

Re: Evening Kids
yeh, newby! welcome!!!!! Ahh, now, we have swine flu at work and i have been checking my LCD thermometer every so often. I have however found that it gives a different reading depending on where i position it on said head....advice welcome guys!
Ice, we actually had pip fairly well under the thumb by the time she left. She was such a good girl for 11months old i have to say and was so fast to learn. She was a pleasure to have here if only the circumstances had been different.
As for 2pass...i forgot youd been there a long while too - one of us old timers but under a different name

Re: Evening Kids
Hiya Ian and Ice, I'm good thank you. All assignments are not finished yet I'm afraid, but next deadline is beginning of October, so I'm easing off a bit, only going into college once a week at the moment and spending the rest of the time clocking up all the work placement hours I need to get in.

Haha Michelle, stick the thermometer in your cup of tea, then casually ask who ever you are sat next to if a temperature of 42 degrees is ok? That should get you some quarantine for a while.

Re: Evening Kids
I am amazed swine flu hasn't arrived at the house yet, we have come surprisingly close of late, as is the case with most people now I think. It's in my daughters school so knowing the way kids huddle, it should arrive any day now. I predict week beginning 10 August as that is the week I am trying to take a break.

Re: Evening Kids
True Michelle, I'm sure it will get me eventually and I for one would rather have version 1 than version 2.
I thought of you and little Pip today as I was at work and the tiniest little jack russell came in for her first vaccination. Was so dinky

Re: Evening Kids
Evening Vicky, I can fully understand why you are worried. Kris and Charlotte are both in a high risk group and my folks certainly can't afford to get it, so tbh, whilst I am not worried for myself and think I'd rather have it now than later, I really don't want the others to get it.
Was thinking about the crazy mother group, but do like the green ( and being a bit planty, green being my favourite colour and me being a junior veg ( as Kris will endorse ) I was wondering about that one . A tenuous link I know, but half blood Irish, is that enough to qualify do you think?

It could be Newby.
If you want added to that group Peter should be able to do it for you as he is down as the group mod.

if you feel you qualify then thats good enough for us Newby
I didnt realise Charlotte would be in the high risk group! I thought so bout parents but not her....hope you manage to keep it at bay too then. I mean to say - surely not EVERYONE will get it - not everyones had normal flu have then
